Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative for a warm welcome.
Begin your journey to Shillong, the ‘Scotland of the East.’
En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake for a refreshing break.
Check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the bustling Police Bazaar.

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunjee – The Land of Waterfalls

Post breakfast, visit Elephant Falls, a three-tiered cascading beauty.
Head towards Dawki, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy a boat ride at your own expense.
Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village .

What wildlife can I expect to see in Kaziranga?

Famous for Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros (extremely reliable sighting), plus elephants, tigers, water buffalo, swamp deer and numerous birds. Best viewing November to April.

How is the jeep safari arranged in Kaziranga?

Forest department-approved guide and vehicle arranged by Tripjyada. Morning and afternoon slots covering different park zones. Entry and guide fees fully included.

Is combining Kaziranga and Meghalaya in 8 days rushed?

Not at all. Kaziranga gets 2 full days and Meghalaya gets 5 days. Each destination has adequate time without any day feeling hurried.

What is the best time for the Kaziranga safari?

October to April is ideal. Park is closed May to October due to flooding. Tripjyada advises on availability and books safari slots in advance.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes. Both destinations are family-friendly. The Kaziranga safari is a highlight for younger travellers. Living Root Bridge trek can be adjusted for children’s fitness.

Are jeep safari fees included in the package?

Yes. Kaziranga entry fees, jeep safari charges and forest guide fees are all included in the Tripjyada package price.

Note:- Valid ID proof (Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence). PAN Card & Aadhar Card is not acceptable. In case of a child below 18 years bring Aadhar or Birth Certificate. 4 Passport sized photographs of each person.

Payment Policy

Bookings Made 60 to 30 Days Prior to Tour Date
An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. The balance amount must be paid as per the company payment schedule communicated at the time of confirmation.
Bookings Made 20 Days Prior to Tour Date
An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. Upon issuance of the hotel confirmation voucher (within 3 business days), an additional 20% of the total tour cost + 5% GST must be paid. The remaining balance amount must be settled on the day of arrival.
