Absolutely — if the itinerary is planned well, 3 days covers all the essential Darjeeling experiences without feeling rushed. This tour includes the iconic Tiger Hill sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda and central Darjeeling's markets and viewpoints.
The Mirik route is one of the most scenic approaches to Darjeeling — winding through cardamom forests, orange orchards, and tea gardens with far more visual interest than the highway route. Mirik itself offers the beautiful Mirik Lake, pedal boating, and a pleasant stop to break up the drive.
The Tiger Hill excursion begins very early — typically a 4 AM departure from the hotel to reach the viewpoint before sunrise. The sunrise itself occurs between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM depending on the season. A clear view of Mt. Kanchenjunga is weather-dependent and can't be guaranteed, but October to December and March to May give the best odds.
Darjeeling is a year-round destination with different personalities across seasons. October to December is the most popular window — clear skies, sharp mountain views, and festive energy make it the best overall time. March to May is equally excellent — rhododendrons bloom and the weather stays pleasantly cool.
Yes — this short itinerary is designed as a standalone experience but can easily be extended. Popular extensions include adding Mirik as an overnight stop, combining Darjeeling with Gangtok and North Sikkim for a longer mountain holiday, or adding Kalimpong for its monasteries and flower nurseries.
Included: 2 nights accommodation on twin-sharing basis in Darjeeling, daily breakfast throughout, all transfers in a private commercial-plate vehicle exclusively for your group including the Bagdogra pickup, Mirik stop, Tiger Hill excursion, full-day sightseeing and drop-off. Airfare/train tickets, lunch and dinner, entry fees and personal expenses are excluded.

Bookings Made 60 to 30 Days Prior to Tour Date An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. The balance amount must be paid as per the company payment schedule communicated at the time of confirmation. Bookings Made 20 Days Prior to Tour Date An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. Upon issuance of the hotel confirmation voucher (within 3 business days), an additional 20% of the total tour cost + 5% GST must be paid. The remaining balance amount must be settled on the day of arrival.
Cancellation has to be sent to us by Mail/Fax. 30 Days from The Date of Booking: Only Communication Charges Rs.2000 Per Person. 21-30 Days Prior To Departure: 25% Of Tour Cost 11-20 Days Prior To Departure: 50% Of Tour Cost 10 Days Prior To Departure: Full Cancellation Above are the cancellation rules but we will put our best possible effort to minimise the cancellation charges.
