Package Includes
This Sikkim Darjeeling Kalimpong package from Tripjyada is a 9-day loop through the best of the Eastern Himalayas. It mixes high mountain valleys, monastery towns and colonial-era hill stations in one smooth, unhurried trip. You start in Gangtok and spend a night in Lachung, the base for Yumthang Valley. After a full day in Gangtok, you head west to Pelling for Kanchenjunga views and ancient ruins. The second half slows down in West Bengal. Kalimpong brings flower nurseries and hilltop monasteries, and Darjeeling ends the journey with a Tiger Hill sunrise and a full city tour. Pickup and drop are at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. The price covers 8 nights in hotels, including a 4-star stay in Kalimpong, plus dinner and breakfast daily and one private Innova or Xylo. Why choose this Sikkim Darjeeling Kalimpong package Most hill trips skip Kalimpong, yet it is one of the calmest towns in the region. Adding it between Pelling and Darjeeling breaks up the long drives and gives you a quieter day. The route moves steadily south and west, so you rarely backtrack. Each stop has its own character, from snowy Lachung to the tea slopes of Darjeeling. You also get two of the region's most loved views of Kanchenjunga: from Pelling and from Tiger Hill. Tripjyada arranges permits, hotels and the car, so you just enjoy the scenery. Best time to visit March to May and October to December are the most popular months. Spring brings rhododendrons to Yumthang Valley, and autumn usually gives the clearest mountain views. December to February is cold in Lachung, and snow can close the road north for a few days. The monsoon, from July to September, turns the hills green but brings more landslides and delays. Pack warm layers in every season. Lachung and Tiger Hill at dawn are far colder than Kalimpong or Gangtok.
