Package Includes
This 5 nights 6 days Gangtok Pelling package Tripjyada's that stays entirely inside Sikkim, pairing the state's lively capital with its quieter western hills. You spend 3 nights in Gangtok and 2 nights in Pelling, a small town at about 2,000 m that looks straight at the Kanchenjunga range. The Gangtok half covers a border-zone lake at 12,400 ft, Baba Mandir and a full day of monasteries, viewpoints and a ropeway ride. The Pelling half is slower: waterfalls, a sacred forest lake, an orange orchard and the ruins of Rabdentse, once a royal capital of Sikkim. Your trip starts and ends at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Hotels, dinner and breakfast daily, permit fees, hotel taxes and a private non-AC Innova or Xylo are included, with add-ons such as the Pelling Skywalk available at extra cost. Why choose this Gangtok Pelling tour package Most Sikkim trips race between towns and leave little time to settle in. This Gangtok Pelling tour package does the opposite. With 3 nights in Gangtok and 2 in Pelling, you unpack only twice, and every full day goes to sightseeing instead of packing and checking out. The two towns also feel very different. Gangtok is Sikkim's busy capital, with markets, cafés, monasteries and a cable car over the rooftops. Pelling is small and quiet, with forest roads, waterfalls and some of the closest Kanchenjunga views you can get by road. Seeing both shows you two sides of Sikkim in one week. The package suits families, couples and groups of friends. Sightseeing is done by car, with short walks at each stop, and one private vehicle stays with your group from pickup to drop. You can add Nathula Pass, the Pelling Skywalk, Singshore Bridge or a Namchi and Ravangla detour if you want more. Best time to visit Gangtok and Pelling March to May and October to December are the most popular months. Spring brings flowering rhododendrons and mild days, while autumn usually gives the clearest mountain views. From December to February, Tsomgo Lake is often frozen and snow is common on the higher roads, but heavy snowfall can close the route for a few days. The monsoon, from July to September, brings lush green hills along with a higher chance of landslides and delays. Whatever month you pick, pack warm layers. Tsomgo Lake is much colder than Gangtok, even on sunny days, and Pelling evenings can feel chilly for most of the year.
