Package Includes
This Gangtok Lachung Darjeeling package from Tripjyada blends city, snow and tea country into one 7-day trip. You stay in Sikkim's capital, spend a night in a high Himalayan village, and finish in West Bengal's best-loved hill town. From Gangtok, you drive north to Lachung, a quiet village at about 9,600 ft. Next morning you visit Yumthang Valley, known as the Valley of Flowers, before heading back down to Gangtok. After a full day exploring Gangtok, you move on to Darjeeling for two nights. There you watch the sunrise from Tiger Hill and tour the town's monasteries, museum and viewpoints. Pickup and drop are at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Your price covers 6 nights in 3-star hotels, dinner and breakfast daily, and one private Innova or Xylo for every transfer. Why choose this Gangtok Lachung Darjeeling package Most short trips pick either North Sikkim or Darjeeling. This plan gives you a taste of both without rushing, with just one night in the cold north and four nights in comfortable towns. The single Lachung night keeps travel days manageable for families and older guests. You still see snow-capped peaks and Yumthang Valley, then return to Gangtok's cafés and markets the same evening. Darjeeling adds a different mood: tea gardens, a heritage railway and some of the best sunrise views in India. Ending here makes the drive to the airport short and easy. Best time to visit March to May and October to December are the most popular months. Spring brings rhododendrons to Yumthang Valley, and autumn usually has the clearest mountain views from Tiger Hill. Winter, from December to February, is cold in Lachung and snowfall can block the road north for a few days. The monsoon, from July to September, brings green hills but a higher chance of landslides. Whatever the season, carry warm layers. Lachung and Yumthang are much colder than Gangtok or Darjeeling.
