This 4 night, 5 day Gangtok Kalimpong tour package combines Sikkim’s capital with the quiet hill town of Kalimpong in West Bengal. You are picked up at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station and spend two nights in Gangtok, where you can visit the high-altitude Tsomgo Lake. You then drive down to Kalimpong for two more nights of gardens, monasteries and viewpoints. The trip ends with a drop back at Bagdogra or NJP. The package suits couples, families and small groups who want a relaxed first trip to the North East without long, tiring drives. It includes hotel stays with breakfast, private vehicle transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary and permit fees.
Your driver meets you at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and takes you up the hills to Gangtok. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free. Stroll through the town centre, try local momos and settle in. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
The vehicle is non-AC and works on a point-to-point basis for transfers and listed sightseeing. It is not at your disposal for the whole day. Because of limited parking, guests should wait in the hotel lobby at the agreed pickup times. Extra sightseeing or additional vehicle use will be charged separately.
Four nights and five days is a comfortable length. It gives you two nights in each town with one full day for Tsomgo Lake and one for Kalimpong sightseeing.
This itinerary uses 3-star stays: 7 Mirror in Gangtok and Golden Kuensel Resort in Kalimpong, both with breakfast. Hotels may change with availability, so confirm at booking.
It starts with a pickup at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and ends with a drop at the same points.
The quoted rates apply to Indian nationals only. Foreign guests need separate permits and pricing.
Breakfast is included at both hotels, along with permit fees and hotel taxes. Lunch, dinner, entry tickets and guide charges are paid separately.
